IYT® Exam

By IYO® International Yoga Organisation for an IYT® certification.

The IYT® Exam consists of Written, Viva, and Practical demonstrations. It evaluates the candidates' theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to Yoga.

Theory & Viva Section

Total Questions: 20 Questions

Maximum Score: 100

Each question carries 5 marks.

Practical Section

Candidates are required to perform various Yoga Asanas and demonstrate their understanding of different Yoga techniques and principles.

Maximum Score: 200

To prepare for the IYT Exam, consider the following guidelines:

Study Materials:

Refer to the official study guide provided by IYO®.

Review relevant books, articles, and online resources on Yoga philosophy, anatomy, asanas, sequencing, and teaching methodologies.

Practice Sessions:

Regularly attend Yoga classes to refine your own practice.

Engage in self-practice to deepen your understanding of various asanas and focus on correct alignment.

Mock Tests:

Take practice exams to familiarize yourself with the question format and time constraints.

Analyze your performance to identify areas that require further improvement.

Seek Guidance:

Consult your IYS®-International Yoga School for guidance and clarification on challenging topics.

Participate in workshops or training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Exam Day Instructions

On the day of the exam, please adhere to the following instructions:

Technical Requirements:

Ensure a stable internet connection.

Use a compatible device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a functioning webcam.

Setup:

Choose a quiet and well-lit room for the exam.

Clear the surroundings from distractions.

Arrange the necessary props or equipment required for the practical section.

Conduct:

Maintain professional behavior throughout the exam.

Avoid any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unauthorized assistance.

Exam Results:

The results will be communicated to IYS®-International Yoga School within 48 hours.

Successful candidates will receive their IYT®certification from the IYO® International Yoga Organisation.
