IYT® Certification Ceremony at Soham Yoga Therapy-Pune, India

Introduction

On 11 August 2024, a group of IYT® yoga teachers and practitioners received their IYT® -International Yoga Teacher certification at Soham Yoga Therapy-Pune, India. The certification ceremony was organized by IYS® (International Yoga School), an affiliated school of IYO® (International Yoga Organisation), the global body for yoga education, certification and standards. The ceremony was attended by the founder and director of Soham Yoga Therapy-Pune, India, Dr Manju Dalvi, and along with other dignitaries and guests.

Highlights of the Ceremony

· The ceremony began with a welcome speech by dignitaries, who congratulated the graduates and thanked IYS® Soham Yoga Therapy and IYO® International Yoga Organisation for their support and guidance. He also shared his vision of spreading yoga & yoga therapy as a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness.

· The dignitaries then addressed the audience and spoke about the importance of IYT® certification, which is based on the international standards and competencies of yoga & yoga therapy as defined by IYO®. He also highlighted the benefits of yoga & yoga therapy for various physical, mental, and emotional conditions, and the role of yoga therapists in the health care system.

· The graduates then received their certificates dignitaries, and expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to learn and practice yoga therapy under the guidance of IYO® and Soham Yoga Therapy. They also shared their experiences and testimonials of how yoga therapy has transformed their lives and the lives of their clients.

· The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Manju Dalvi, who thanked dignitaries for coming to the event. She also thanked the graduates for their dedication and commitment to yoga & yoga therapy, and wished them all the best for their future endeavours.

· The ceremony was followed by a group photo session and a refreshment break, where the graduates and the guests mingled and networked with each other.

Conclusion

The IYT® certification ceremony was a memorable and meaningful event that celebrated the achievements and aspirations of the yoga & yoga therapy graduates. It also showcased the collaboration and cooperation between IYO®, and Soham Yoga Therapy, and their shared vision of promoting yoga & yoga therapy as a professional and credible field of practice. The ceremony was a testament to the growing popularity and recognition of yoga & yoga therapy in India and around the world.
