We would like to share information about the IYT® International Grandmaster program, a prestigious initiative by the IYO® International Yoga Organisation. This program recognises yoga professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication, and community-building within the yoga world.
Key Highlights:
The Grandmaster position honours those who uplift the yoga community through passion, encouragement, and innovative contributions.
Eligibility requires:
EIYT® Certification (1500 hours by IYO®)
IYT® International Diamond Yoga Ambassador status
Affiliation with an IYO® certified school (minimum 3 years certified)
At least 15 years of teaching experience
A significant number of registered IYT® teachers at your school
The nomination process includes application submission, credential verification, evaluation of experience and contributions, and approval by the IYO® Grandmaster Selection Committee.
Nominations are accepted before January 28th 2026, with evaluation and announcements also taking place.
Applicants must provide proof of certifications, teaching experience, school status, and a portfolio of contributions.
